I agree that Common Cause and many other groups have been promoting election reform.

What I suggest is that some of those political groups that primarily raise and spend money should launch a broad campaign (social media, radio, community events) to alert citizens about the push to give state politicians more control over elections and the power to nullify votes after they are legally cast. (I should have been more specific.)

If more people understood the broad impact of these under-the-radar laws, they would be able to put more pressure on their state lawmakers. Meanwhile, the federal government has its role in upholding equal protection under the law.
